Giant Red Tail Gourami

Maxium Standard Length: 20 inches (50 cm)

Water Conditions:

          Temperature:  68 - 86°F (20 - 30°C).

          pH: 6.5-8.0

          Hardness: 5-25°H

Diet: Pellets, vegatable matter, worms, smaller fish.

Behaviour and Compatibility: Will eat smaller tank mates, Will get along with fish it's size or bigger. They have been known to be aggressive if their tank is too small.

Maintenance: Good filtration is necessary as these guys are messy. Use large rocks or logs for hiding space and they also enjoy floating plants although they may eat them.
